World Championship of Sand Sculpting Official Qualifying Contests

For the first time in the history of the World Championship of Sand Sculpting a new selection process for competitors has been established. Organizers of the World Championship have carefully researched and selected professional sand sculpting competitions from around the globe to act as official qualifiers for this prestigious event. This unprecedented global partnership has already brought tremendous progress and unity to the world of professional sand sculpting and will continue to open new and exciting opportunities for artists, and organizers around the world.

Currently five contests in North America and four in Europe have signed on as official qualifying contests for the World Championship of Sand Sculpting. Our goal is to eventually have up to fifteen official qualifying contest spread around the globe. First place winners at each qualifying contest will automatically secure a spot at the World Championship including round trip air and accommodations. Sculptors not able to attend one of these qualifiers will have an opportunity to submit an application for consideration.
